Power Reduction

The Jaeger Precision AKM/AKX downgrade valve is a must for any user wanting to get their power under site limits using heavier gasses like green gas and propane.

These downgrade valves are now CNC machined from POM engineering plastic and are no longer made by additive manufacturing.  The benfits of this new material are listed below.

This not only makes the part very strong but also makes it much more consistent and polished.

They are now available indiviually in two sizes. We have not done the standard size or the high power size as we feel it no longer makes sense to do so as the AKM/AKX does not struggle to get good power out of the box.

Variants available are now "Low" and "Very Low" and are sold individually. This does make the valves slightly more expensive than before but they are very much so a better product than ever before.

If you are purchasing both and get them mixed up somehow an easy way to tell which is which is to stand them up on a flat surface. The Valve that stands higher is the lower powered valve.

High strength and rigidity: POM exhibits excellent mechanical properties, including high tensile strength, stiffness, and hardness.

Low friction: It has a low coefficient of friction, making it ideal for sliding applications.

Good wear resistance: POM offers excellent wear resistance, especially in both wet and dry environments.

Chemical resistance: POM is resistant to many chemicals, including hydrocarbons, solvents, and neutral chemicals.

Dimensional stability: It maintains its shape and dimensions well, even under varying conditions.
