Jaeger Precision MP7 NPAS Adjustable Valve

The Jaeger MP7 NPAS valve represents the culmination of extensive development and refinement, tailored specifically for the Tokyo Marui MP7 gas blowback platform.

Development began in September 2024 with an initial prototype that delivered promising performance. However, we identified areas for improvement, including the valve's thin profile and adjustment ergonomics. In response to strong customer demand, we paused and re-evaluated the project from the ground up to ensure uncompromising quality.

Key design priorities remained non-negotiable throughout:

1. Performance on par with our established valve lineup
2. Simple, tool-based adjustment using a standard 1.5mm Allen key (consistent with our other valves)
3. In-situ adjustability—no removal from the bolt/nozzle required for fine-tuning
4. Reliable, consistent muzzle energy suitable for both domestic (UK) and international markets

The second iteration (V2) offered smooth, precise adjustment and excellent FPS consistency. While bolt removal remains necessary for access (as with our other valve systems unless a dedicated tool is developed), the valve performed reliably. At maximum opening, it achieved approximately 0.9 Joules with 0.36g BBs—solid, but below our target for international customers seeking higher power within legal limits.

Following minor redesigns and optimizations, Version 3 delivered up to 1.5 Joules at full open—closer to ideal. For UK customers, this is intentionally set slightly high to allow downward adjustment for site compliance, while providing greater headroom for international users where regulations permit. Production units feature a fine-tuned reduction to balance versatility and consistency.

Upgrading the Tokyo Marui MP7 requires more than a simple valve replacement; the nozzle's internal geometry must also be modified to enable true adjustability without compromise. This demanded additional time and engineering effort. Although the project was paused for over 12 months to prioritize other initiatives, we are proud to deliver a fully realized solution.

Important Installation Note: To ensure unobstructed access for the Allen key, trim the interfering section of the nozzle return spring (the portion obstructing the front adjustment port). This minor modification is standard for optimal functionality on this platform.

We believe the Jaeger MP7 NPAS offers the best combination of adjustability, consistency, and durability available for the Tokyo Marui MP7—developed with real-world performance and user feedback in mind.
